Gale Virtual Reference Library offers two ways to search its eBook collections: Basic Search and Advanced Search. Use the search path bar to link to these search pages.
In addition you can search for dictionary definitions of words or terms using the Dictionary link from the toolbar.
Basic Search offers a good place to begin your search. Gale Virtual Reference Library allows you three basic options for performing a search:
With Advanced Search, you can conduct a search on a particular field (known as an index) or combination of data types. You can even build new searches based on previous searches.
An alternative way to do an Advanced Search is to click the CCL Advanced Search link (found toward the bottom of the Advanced Search page).
You can browse an eBook directly from the Basic Search page (also known as the home page), without first performing a search.
