The Quick Search box appears in the left-hand sidebar of the results list, document display page, and the About this Publication page. The Quick Search box lets you search for one or more terms without having to first return to a search input page.
Using Quick Search from the results list causes the system to perform a Basic Search by Keyword.
Using Quick Search while viewing a document or publication information gives you the additional option to search within the eBook. Selecting to search within a publication means the system will perform an Advanced Search using the Keyword and Publication Title indexes. Some eBooks allow you to search across all volumes in a series or strictly within this volume.
You may use AND, OR, and NOT to create Boolean expressions. However, note that search limiters are not available for Quick Search.
Searches using Quick Search are added to your Previous Searches list. These searches can be revised. Click Previous Searches from the toolbar and then click the corresponding Revise link.
