Section 1: Scope

Intent on keeping pace with the growing trade show industry, Trade Shows Worldwide (TSW) contains the vital information needed by every segment of the trade show industry. Its comprehensive coverage of shows, their sponsors and organizers, convention facilities, service providers, and sources of industry information provides the most accurate and current data available about the industry. The global perspective of TSW and its comprehensive data allows industry professionals, city planners, information professionals, and business executives quick access to the information vital for successful and timely decision-making.

Entries in TSW are organized into the following groups:

Section 2: Method of Compilation

Information presented in TSW is compiled through direct contact (whenever possible) by mail or telephone with exhibition planners and management companies, show sponsors, associations, publishers, and other organizations related to the trade show industry. Additional information is obtained from other directories published by Gale. Although every effort has been made to provide the most current information available, some details may have changed in the time between receipt of material from respondents and publication of this directory. It is recommended, therefore, that appropriate organizations be contacted directly before making travel plans or other arrangements.

Section 3: What You'll Find in a TSW Entry and Searchable Fields

Trade Shows Worldwide (TSW) is an international directory of events, facilities, and suppliers. The main method used to store entries is by event/organization/resource name; however, there many ways to find entries, including by Keyword, or by some other specific field of data using Advanced Search (refer to the Corresponding Advanced Search Index(es) column in the table below).

When you search for entries, your search results will show the main fields of data, enough to give you a brief view of the entity profiled. The full entry can be viewed on the entry display page by selecting the entry name from your results list.

Tip: The table below lists the kinds of information you will find in the entries in this eDirectory. Note that not all fields are present in every entry.

The Corresponding Advanced Search Index(es) column lists which Advanced Search index to use to search that field.
