For more than 45 years, Research Centers Directory (RCD) has chronicled the efforts of North America’s premier nonprofit research organizations. It is the only comprehensive guide to the programs, staffing, publications and services of centers, laboratories, institutes, experiment stations, farms, research support facilities, technology transfer centers, think tanks, incubators, research parks, and more.
Research has been broadly defined to include fundamental, applied, and developmental studies, as well as data gathering, analysis, and synthesis activities. RCD also lists research-support units which operate as separate entities, such as statistical laboratories, survey units, information retrieval facilities, and certain museums. Additionlly, you will find information on university research coordinating offices, technology transfer centers, industrial liaison offices, research parks and foundations.
